Land West of Linton

Welcome to our consultation website on proposals for new homes and community facilities at Land West of Linton.

Bloor Homes are bringing forward proposals for a thoughtfully designed development of 250 high-quality homes at Land West of Linton, with a focus on community wellbeing, sustainability, and open space. At the heart of this proposal is the delivery of a much-needed new GP Surgery, which will be located near Granta School and the Linton Community Sports Centre, providing modern healthcare facilities and parking for local residents.
Over 60% of the site will remain as open space, with sustainable drainage systems (SuDS), allotments, and recreational walking trails. We will also enhance the existing Public Right of Way and protect mature trees, hedgerows, while delivering a biodiversity net gain of at least 10%.
The heritage of Little Linton will be preserved, including its existing access exclusively for current residents and a new access road from Cambridge Road will ensure safe and efficient entry to the site.
We are keen to engage with the local community and want to hear your feedback!
Read on to learn more and find out how you can get involved in our public consultation.
The site

The site is located on the edge of Linton, to the north of the A1307 Cambridge Road, with Cow Gallery Wood on its western boundary.

Little Linton Lane runs through the site, providing a natural connection to the surrounding landscape and village.

Little Linton will be preserved, including the existing access from Cambridge Road for residents only. A new access junction off Cambridge Road to the west will be created.
Linton is one of the largest villages in South Cambridgeshire and lies 16km south east of Cambridge city in the River Granta valley.
